If you love the Muppets, and I know I do, then this is the place for you. Kermit, Piggy, Gonzo, Rowlf, Fozzie. Trust me - you’ll smile and that’s the perfect reason to go. You know I share the same birthday as the late Jim Henson himself - 24th September...

Tenby in South West Wales is where I went on holiday this year, I borrowed their postcard to display on my site while I was there, and in return for doing so I promised them a ‘proper’ link. Tenby’s a smashing place, well worth a trip to, as is their website. See if you can pronounce it’s welsh name Dynbych-y-pysgod (dunbuckh-oo-pussgoth...? You can tell I never did Welsh at school...)

Find out more about the station, the shows, the people (cheesy photos) and student radio in general. Listen Live online anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day. Listen to archived special programmes too (including my Dr Who Special!) Oh yeah, did I mention that I designed their original website...!! (my old version is at http://wcr.port5.com/www.wcr1350.co.uk/ )

Site History - In reverse order - going backwards!

22nd February 2004

Well doesn't time fly, and don't things change. I decided to go for a 'proper' website design package after all. I was given a copy of Dreamweaver (all above board!) but I simply couldn't get used to it. Then I came across Namo WebEditor 5.5 and the rest (so far) is history. Very simple to use, does almost everything I want it to - smashing! So I've relaunched again, and gone back to the original colours of this site. I now have www.upandhappy.com The archive is in full swing using a Tonguewag.com database - the server.com databases were using intrusive advertising, and so for that reason I've got rid of them - I'm sorry but when a web page decides to download it's software onto your computer via an advert, regardless of how safe it might be, I can't be doing with that - so they've gone. Tonguewag is much more flexible, which is why I'm using it - plus it's based in this country, which is a nice bonus! I know it looks like a fair gap between the last entry on this page, and this entry - but it really doesn't seem like 5 minutes! I wonder how long it'll be until the next entry... enjoy the site and please let me have your thoughts via 'Get In Touch'

31st August 2002

I'm off to concentrate on the new series of "UpAndHappy!" - enjoy the site, and I'll speak to you on the other pages!!

August 2002

Finally we're almost there. This will probably be the last entry into this page of the Site History, for practical reasons - with the software I'm still using (PagePlus), I have to completely re-upload the page whenever I change it - I know there are ways round this, but I've thought laterally... I'm now going to be using a Server.com database to display any updates to the site from now on, because it's simply a matter of entering a new record to the database which displays immediately. And for any other 'News' there's "Lee's Latest" on the 'What's New' menu - this was powered by GrokSoup.com, until they disappear without warning. It's now powered by Port41.com, now better known as TongueWag.com who allow you to create a 'News Page' and syndicate the content yourself - get in touch if you want to syndicate the 'Lee's Latest' column!! And so that's it. I'll leave this 'Site Updates' page here for anyone who wants to read it - any questions, you can always email me at thesite@leebannister.com Any advice (constructive!) is welcome, as are offers of support for the site, anybody got a spare Macromedia Package (or similar) they want to donate to a good home...I'll make good use of it...

Summer 2002

OK, I admit, I haven't updated things as often as I would have liked - that's why I took the easy option of having the feature pages update themselves through Shagmail.com syndication (not as dodgy as it might sound...!!). However, I'm actively working on many new and exciting features to revolutionise this website. The features pages will still feature new content every day, BUT (and this is the biggie) I'm also preparing the long awaited 'Vault' concept. Every piece of Trivia, Teaser, Recipe, NewsRoundUp story is being entered into a series of Online Searchable databases, so you can spend hours reading through almost everything we've ever done of the show. Many thanks to Server.com for providing these free databases - visit them to set up your own!

PLUS! More devolution! "UpAndHappy!" Online moves to www.upandhappy.co.uk My homepage is still at www.leebannister.co.uk but now you can go via www.leebannister.com  (I'm just a big head really!) and Nik now has her own homepages at www.nikkster.com  and www.nikkster.co.uk

March 2002 Doesn't time fly, I'm designing new graphics for a brand new version of the site to go live during the summer.

12/6/01 A couple of slight changes to the layout of the site, plus an extra link to Muppetworld (as promised guys!). The site is due for a change soon cus it can be a little slow at times, so I’ve got a few ideas how to quicken it up! Stay tuned...

1/2/01 Finally, a completely new look after months of thought and deliberation, plus everything else I’ve been doing! I’ve now upgraded to PagePlus 6 which reckons it can handle HTML 4... Which is why a lot of stuff is overlapped... because it can!! It it doesn’t look right - you should get Internet Explorer 5 (I’m not keen on Netscape, so I can’t guarauntee the pages will look right in it for the moment...)

1/11/00 It’s been a while, but I’ve been busy putting together WCR online at www.wcr1350.co.uk UpAndHappy! Is now part of the “ArcherTV Network” at www.archertv.supanet.com and can be reached through my own domain www.leebannister.co.uk The personal info on me is now at www.leebannister.co.uk and coming soon is “The Vault”..

7/7/00 Finally I’ve cracked it! Frames!! With help from 7am.com who provide this site’s daily world news, I’ve learned how to do frames properly. I’m still working on them but it’s a good start innit!

9/5/00 A complete overhaul. I’ve re-arranged things, and the biggest addition this time round is the section about yours truly, revised and expanded to show how sad I really am. Site still on Geocities, but reached via www.listen.to/upandhappy

8/3/00 Generally tidied things up a bit after realising how slow it all was! The Navigation bar is quicker to load too.

5/3/00 Site created using Serif PagePlus 5.0 - an absolutely wonderful Desktop Publisher, but unfortunately by no means the best web page producer and not very flexible. But it saves faffing about with trying to type HTML. I’m sorry but that kind of stuff should only be attempted after first boiling your head. First uploaded to www.geocities.com/leewcr
